Bentley’s Fuel Warracknabeal celebrated for outstanding recycling achievement
TOMRA Cleanaway is proud to celebrate the outstanding environmental leadership of Bentley’s Fuel Service, and the whole Bentley’s family, a valued partner in Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme. Their commitment to supporting their local community and keeping their town litter free reached an exciting milestone late 2025, recognised with a milestone certificate presented by TOMRA Cleanaway account manager Steve Rainey. This achievement marks an impressive 2 million eligible drink containers processed through their refund point as part of the TOMRA Cleanaway West Zone network.
To mark the occasion, a morning celebration was held onsite at the refund point, bringing together the Mayor, Councillors and members of the local Yarriambiack Shire Council to acknowledge the positive impact the Bentley’s family has had on the community. The gathering highlighted the importance of local partnerships in driving environmental progress and showcased the strong community spirit behind the success of the container deposit scheme.

Since joining forces with TOMRA Cleanaway in 2023, Bentley’s Warracknabeal has played a vital role in empowering the local community to recycle eligible drink containers with ease. Their refund point has become a trusted hub for reducing litter, encouraging responsible recycling habits, and supporting a cleaner Wimmera for everyone.
Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme has been rewarding Victorians with a 10‑cent refund for every eligible drink container returned since November 2023, and thanks to dedicated businesses like Bantley’s, the scheme continues to reduce waste, lower litter rates, and create long‑lasting environmental benefits across the state.
