June 2021 has provided the Team at TOMRA Cleanaway, network operator for the NSW container deposit scheme a reason to celebrate – our employee engagement score delivered through employee survey was outstanding!
TOMRA Cleanaway employs hundreds of people across NSW to deliver network operations for the NSW container deposit scheme, Return and Earn. A common theme across our recent investigation into our employees is the absolute pride our Team take in helping create a better environment and future for the next generation. Another common theme, great relationships! Partnership is at the core of our services, we could not deliver our network without a positive, and collaborative approach.
Shared purpose clearly drives our team focussed on delivery of our front-line services. They are all Mothers, Wives, Daughters, Sisters and Aunties – each bringing a valued uniqueness to their role within our business. This is a snapshot of just some of our incredible team for #IWD2021.
Thank you for being involved and always ‘Choose to Challenge’
In 2020, TOMRA Cleanaway stepped up at Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney with Return and Earn Scheme partners Exchange for Change and TOMRA Collections Solutions Australia.
Success highlights the extent to which the state’s container deposit scheme has changed attitudes to litter, waste and recycling across NSW in the past three years.
We celebrate local hero Mick Clark’s 20 years with Cleanaway and the incredible work he’s doing collecting recyclable containers for NSW’s Container Deposit Scheme.
The TOMRA Cleanaway awards began in 2018 and have become an annual event to recognise team members chosen by their peers and management team for delivering excellence.
2020 peer nominations were so strong that we had to add categories to accommodate additional staff members achievements!
