Welcome to the network White Bay Power Station!

The Inner West has a new location for locals to Return and Earn with the opening of a reverse vending machine (RVM) at White Bay Power Station in Rozelle. Inner West Council residents are enthusiastic recyclers, having returned more than 94.4 million containers since Return and Earn launched in December 2017, resulting in more than $9.4 million in refunds back into the hands of the community.

In operation for over a decade, the project engages global citizen scientists making use of an app to aid data gather and monitoring of marine litter to inform upstream solutions, like container deposit schemes. Data is actively used by over 25 organisations globally, including locally in Australia.
