TOMRA Cleanaway Celebrates our Award Winners for 2023!

The TOMRA Cleanaway team is the key to the delivery of a world class container deposit scheme and in 2023 we came together as a newly expanded group to celebrate us! As operator for CDS Vic’s west zone and network operator for Return and Earn, the NSW container deposit scheme, TOMRA Cleanaway delivers a central role in delivering service excellence, resulting in continued high levels of customer participation and engagement. It is our wonderful employees, our Team who commit daily to the community we serve.

Our annual awards provide us with an opportunity to focus in on the unique contributions our staff members make to delivering NSW and Victorian container deposit scheme network operations, and we take some time celebrate our achievements through the ‘TOMRA Cleanaway Awards’.

The TOMRA Cleanaway awards commenced in 2018 and is an annual event. Our Staff Awards recognize those team members that colleagues, and management, and our executive identified as consistently delivering excellence. In 2023, the nominations period commenced in October and concluded in mid-November. Using peer nominations, candidates from our Team were put forward for one or more category of award. Generally, this means the individual was nominated for business wide service excellence. 2023 marked the highest number of nominations received since our annual awards commenced in 2018.

Over and above this internal recognition, our team members are acknowledged broadly for delivering a level of excellence that has a positive influence on the community that relies on the TOMRA Cleanaway’s services in New South Wales and Victoria.

Award nominations were highly contest in each category, but the standout recipients were ultimately rewarded for their efforts in 2023, in nearly every instance, each nominee was put forward across multiple categories of award.
